WHY TITAN

Why TITAN does whole-home audio differently

A real whole-home audio system isn't a pile of speakers in every room. It's one system designed for the architecture, the family, and the way music actually moves through the home.

Design before sell

DESIGNED BEFORE WE SELL

We design before we sell.

Speaker layout is engineering. Where the speakers go depends on the ceiling, the layout, the listening positions, and the room’s acoustics. We don’t put a speaker in every room — we put the right number in the right places.

Tune, test, and train

ON-SITE TUNING

We tune, test, and train.

Most installers drop the speakers in and walk away. We measure, EQ, and level-match. After install, we train the household so the system actually gets used.

Remote monitoring

REMOTE MONITORING

We see issues before you do.

Remote monitoring catches firmware updates, dropped streaming services, and network hiccups from our office. Most troubleshooting is remote — no van roll.

What Clients Say

What our
homeowners say

Homeowners across Great Falls, McLean, Aldie, Leesburg, Arlington, Potomac, and Bethesda trust TITAN with the systems they live with every day.

OUR PROCESS

How a whole-home audio project actually starts.

Four phases. Every one of them documented and signed before we move on. No surprises mid-installation.

Tell us

A 15-minute call or quick form. New build, renovation, or existing room — we listen first.

Walk the Room

Ideally before the project breaks ground. We map speaker locations, cable paths, and control logic into the architecture.

Design

Every speaker, every zone, every cable run, every labor line. The Performance Protection Plan is on the same page. No anchor numbers.

Install & Tune

Speakers go in, cabling stays out of sight, system gets tuned by ear and by measurement. Performance Protection Plan activates day one.

01

How much does whole-home audio cost?

A 4–6 zone system in an existing house typically runs in the low-to-mid five figures. A 12+ zone whole-home system with outdoor zones, multiple sources, and full control integration usually runs into the mid-to-high five figures.
02

Crestron vs. Sonos vs. Savant — which one?

Crestron is the workhorse when audio is part of a broader smart-home install. Sonos is the simplest path if app-based control is all you want. Savant fits homeowners who care most about UI and audio depth. We’re authorized for all three.
03

Can you install audio in an existing home without opening walls?

Often, yes. Wireless systems, retrofit in-ceiling speakers, and surface-mount options all work in existing homes. The on-site consult tells us what’s possible without drywall work.
04

How many speakers does a room need?

It depends on ceiling height, room size, and how the room is used. A typical living room takes a stereo pair; a great room with a kitchen attached usually wants 4 speakers; an outdoor patio needs 2–6 plus a buried subwoofer.
05

Do you install outdoor audio for patios and pools?

Yes — one of our most-requested upgrades. Landscape speakers, weather-rated in-ceiling on covered patios, and buried subwoofers. The system stays balanced indoors-to-out.
06

What happens if a speaker fails or a streaming service drops?

Remote monitoring catches it. Most are resolved remotely. When a speaker fails, we send a tech who knows your system.
07

What areas do you serve?

Custom homes across McLean, Great Falls, Potomac, Bethesda, Northwest DC, Chevy Chase, Vienna, Tysons, Arlington, Fairfax, and the surrounding DC Metro.
