WHAT WE DO

What a TITAN home theater includes

A great home theater is engineered, not assembled. Every element below is sized to the room and the way you actually watch.

01

Custom Home AV

Watch Anywhere

Custom Home AV

Watch Anywhere

Laser projectors, OLED, mini-LED, or short-throw — chosen for the room’s light, the screen size, and the content you actually watch. Sony and JVC for dedicated projection rooms; Samsung Frame and Sony OLED where the display has to live in the room when it’s not in use.

  • Sony & JVC projection
  • Samsung Frame & Sony OLED
  • ISF-calibrated, not just plugged in

Distributed Audio

Music Everywhere

Cinema-grade processing (Trinnov, JBL Synthesis, Anthem) with speakers placed for the seats — not the wall. In-wall, on-wall, or fully exposed reference monitors. Dolby Atmos done correctly.

Set the Mood

Most home theaters fail on acoustics, not equipment. We design absorption, diffusion, and bass-trap placement before we spec speakers.

Crestron is our most-installed control system — it’s what we design around most often. One button per movie, one path that always works.

See Everything

Lutron-driven scenes for “watch,” “intermission,” “credits,” and “lights up.” Motorized shades drop on the same button.

WHY TITAN

Why TITAN does home theater differently

A great home theater is engineered, not assembled. Most theater installs start from a parts list. We start from how the family actually watches.

Room and family first

ROOM-FIRST DESIGN

We design for the room and the family.

Most theater installs start from a parts list. We start from how the family actually watches — the seating count, the content, the lights, the noise floor. The hardware list follows the behavior, not the other way around.

Calibrate, tune, and train

CALIBRATION & TRAINING

We calibrate, tune, and train.

ISF-certified video calibration on every display. Audio measurement and EQ on every theater. Training on day one so the household knows how to use it. After install, we tune again as you actually live with it.

Remote monitoring

REMOTE MONITORING

We see issues before you do.

Remote monitoring catches firmware updates, calibration drift, projector lamp life, and AV receiver hiccups from our office. Most troubleshooting is remote — no van roll. When we do come on site, the technician knows your system.

What Clients Say

What our
homeowners say

Homeowners across Great Falls, McLean, Aldie, Leesburg, Arlington, Potomac, and Bethesda trust TITAN with the systems they live with every day.

OUR PROCESS

How a home theater project actually starts.

Four phases. Every one of them documented and signed before we move on. No surprises mid-installation.

Tell us

A 15-minute call or quick form. New build, renovation, or existing room — we listen first.

Walk the Room

Ideally before the project breaks ground. We map the theater into the architecture — sightlines, acoustic treatment, lighting and shading scenes, pre-wire.

Design

Every system, every brand, every labor line, every timeline. The Performance Protection Plan that comes with it is on the same page. No anchor numbers.

Install

Installation and calibration by the team that designed it. Training the household, labeling the rack, handing off the documentation. Performance Protection Plan activates day one.

01

How much does home theater installation cost?

A great-room AV system typically lands in the mid-to-high five figures. A dedicated theater room with projection, treatment, seating, and a real reference audio system usually runs into the six figures, depending on finish level. Every line is itemized.
02

Does TITAN install theaters in basements, lofts, or existing rooms?

Yes. The majority of our theaters are retrofits — a basement gets converted, a bonus room becomes the screening room, a great room gets engineered audio. New construction we coordinate with the architect, designer, and GC during pre-wire.
03

What’s the difference between a media room and a dedicated theater?

A media room is multi-purpose — usable for movies, sports, games, and daily TV with normal lighting and seating. A dedicated theater is single-purpose — light-controlled, acoustically treated, seated for viewing. We design both.
04

Do you handle the acoustic treatment?

Yes. Acoustic treatment is the single biggest difference between a great-sounding room and an expensive one. We measure, model, and treat as part of the install.
05

Do you support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X?

Yes. Every modern theater we design supports Atmos at minimum. We size the system and place the speakers around the height channels.
06

Can you upgrade an existing theater?

Often, yes. We’ll audit the room, measure the audio, evaluate the projector, and tell you which components are worth keeping and which are holding back the room. Then quote the upgrade.
07

How long does a theater install take?

A typical great-room AV install runs 1–3 weeks of on-site work. A dedicated theater room takes 4–8 weeks depending on construction, treatment, and finish.
08

What areas do you serve?

Custom homes across McLean, Great Falls, Potomac, Bethesda, Northwest DC, Chevy Chase, Vienna, Tysons, Arlington, Fairfax, and the surrounding DC Metro.
