Smart Home

Smart home control

01

Smart Home

Smart home control

Bring the lights, shades, music, TVs, climate, and security together on one control. That might be a keypad by the door, a touchscreen on the wall, or your phone when you’re away. The goal isn’t to add another app. It’s to make the house easier to use.

We design lighting scenes and motorized shades around your rooms, finishes, and routines. The light should feel right on a bright morning, during dinner, or in the middle of a movie without you having to think about it.

Reliable Wi-Fi isn’t the most glamorous part of a project. But everything else leans on it. We design the network and the wiring behind it so the connection stays strong throughout the home and property.

INTRODUCTION

One team for your whole home.

Here’s where a lot of home-technology projects go sideways: the handoffs. The AV installer doesn’t talk to the electrician. Nobody really owns the network. A few months later, you’re staring at four remotes and seven different apps that each want a password. We keep the whole job under one roof:

Design and engineering 01

Design and engineering

We map the system to your home, plans, and how you actually live — before a single cable is pulled.

Scenes, loads, keypad layouts, and equipment choices follow the design, not the other way around.

Wiring and installation 02

Wiring and installation

One crew handles the rough-in, finishes, and hardware so speakers, shades, racks, and panels land cleanly.

No handoffs between separate AV, lighting, and network subcontractors mid-job.

Programming and calibration 03

Programming and calibration

We program the control system and tune picture, sound, and lighting scenes in the rooms where you’ll use them.

The house should respond the way you expect on day one — and still feel right after you settle in.

Training and ongoing support 04

Training and ongoing support

We walk you through the system in person until it feels natural, then stay on call for service and additions.

One team from the first conversation through years of living with the house.

WHY TITAN

Why homeowners choose us

20 years of local experience

LOCAL EXPERIENCE

20 years of local experience

We’ve been designing and supporting residential technology systems across Northern Virginia and the DC Metro for two decades.

One firm and one phone call

ONE FIRM

One firm and one phone call

You don’t have to coordinate separate AV, network, lighting, and security companies. We design the system, pull the cable, install the equipment, program it, and pick up the phone when you call later.

Designed around your home

HOME-TUNED

Designed around your home

A theater gets calibrated in the room where it lives. Lighting scenes get adjusted against your real paint, millwork, and furnishings. We don’t call the project finished until it’s tuned in the home and you’ve approved it in person.

Technology that stays out of sight

DISCREET

Technology that stays out of sight

Speakers tucked behind millwork. Touchpanels set flush into the wall. Equipment racks and cable runs kept out of view. The technology should feel like it was always part of the house.

Support after installation

ONGOING SUPPORT

Support after installation

Our relationship doesn’t end when the installation is finished. You’ll have one team to call for service, additions, updates, and future projects.

PROCESS

How the process works

Walk the home — or the plans

Every project starts with a conversation. For existing homes, we walk the house with you and talk about how you actually live in it. For new construction or renovations, we review your architectural plans and get involved before the drywall goes up — when the best options are still on the table.

Review your options

We'll tell you honestly what makes sense, what doesn't, and where your budget will make the biggest difference. No pressure, no upsell.

Approve the design

Before installation begins, you'll see exactly what you're getting. For larger projects, that means drawings, equipment selections, system details, and an itemized proposal — no surprises later.

Install, tune, and hand off

Our team installs, programs, and calibrates everything, then walks you through the system in person until it feels natural.

One call, forever

After installation, you have one company to call — for service, additions, upgrades, and whatever your home needs next.

TESTIMONIAL

What homeowners
say

01

Can you help with just one room?

Absolutely. A lot of homeowners start with one project, such as a theater, better Wi-Fi, lighting, motorized shades, or outdoor audio. We can design it so anything you add later fits into the system cleanly.
02

Do you only work on new construction?

No. We work on new homes, renovations, and finished homes. Bringing us in early on a new build gives us more flexibility, but we upgrade existing homes all the time.
03

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the home, the systems involved, and how far you want to take it. A focused one-room project costs less than a fully integrated custom home. After the first consultation, we’ll give you an itemized proposal, line by line, with no mystery number and no pressure to approve more than you need.
04

Can you service a system another company installed?

Usually, yes. We’ll start with an audit, document what’s already there, and tell you honestly what’s worth keeping and what isn’t.
05

Which platforms do you install?

Crestron is the platform we design around most often. We also install Savant, Control4, Lutron lighting and shades, Sony, Samsung, and other established residential brands. We’ll recommend the system that best fits your project and the way you want to use it.
06

How soon can someone visit my home?

We can usually get someone on-site within about five business days. Submit the consultation form or call us, and we’ll arrange the next available appointment that works for you.
